How To Drop 59 Pounds

What's the Quickest way to lose weight?

If you’ve been asking around what the quickest way to lose weight is, welcome to the world of diet and fitness. You’re among the millions of people around the world wondering about the same thing. As more and more people get into the overweight portion of the scale, information are getting more and more complex, making many people completely frustrated as they don’t know what to believe anymore.

That’s understandable. Perhaps you’ve also been getting mixed signals from what you’re reading on books and online. Some would say you cut carbohydrates, others will point you in the totally opposite direction and say that you need to eat boatloads of carbohydrates. So what exactly is the quickest way to lose weight?

Well, nothing beats conventional wisdom when it comes to weight loss. A so-called “dietician” may advise some completely strange diets to you but if you want to really get in shape, you’re going to have to work hard on eating less and exercising more. Yes, that’s the equation, and you know it’s nothing secret at all!

Eating moderate portions of food has always been the crux of weight loss. Make no mistake about it – you will not shed those unsightly fats unless you cut down on your meal servings. Forget about what they say on eating more to lose weight. That’s completely nonsense, not to mention highly illogical. Come on, how do you expect to lose weight if you keep stuffing those extra fats and calories and whatnots into your system. It doesn’t even fit a simple mathematical formula!

Unless you minimize the food that you eat in a day, you can never hope to lose those stubborn fats. No, it doesn’t mean that you starve yourself to death. Eating in “moderate” portions means you eat within the Recommended Dietary Allowance for your height and age. Anything more and you risk adding more pounds into your already overweight body. Anything less and you’re not being helpful to your system either. Eating way below the RDA can deprive your body of the nutrients it so needs.

You must also take into account the amount of calories that you burn everyday. Even if you eat in adherence to your RDA, if your body isn’t burning calories as it should, you’re not doing yourself any favor at all. Which brings us to another important aspect of weight loss – exercise.

Surely you’ve known about the importance of exercise practically your whole life. But have you really buckled down and commit to a strict exercise routine? Do you spend at least an hour a day, three times a week pounding the treadmill or running around the neighborhood every morning? Knowing about the benefits of exercise is just head knowledge. It wouldn’t do you any good unless you really apply the principles behind it.

To get in shape, you must work around your schedule to give enough time for exercises. You can either get a gym membership, or simply do the routine at home or outdoors, whatever works for you. Your goal is to burn those pesky calories so they don’t transform into fats that you so needed to lose.
